...though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, but your eyes shall see your teachers. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left. You will also defile the covering of your images of silver, and the ornament of your molded images of gold. You will throw them away as an unclean thing; you will say to them, "Get away!" ~Isaiah 30: 20-22

His wisdom is always at our resource; His instruction is available before we are even aware that we need it. The things that have us so preoccupied become despicable when we choose to walk in His grace. When people get confused about the "will of God," aren't we really just obsessing over the "next step" to take? But isn't the will of God simply to bring us closer to Him and to each other, and to make us more like Jesus? All of our "next steps" are revealed as we move to a place where we can actually listen to Him. Let us despise the things that hold us back from Him-- not because they are "wrong," but because we love Him too much to let anything stand in our way.

'jules' I have to say you are such a precious sister to me. your sense of humour is priceless and this april 28 entry is so encouraging, I've been 'battling in the spirit' lately as decisions, doubts are clouding my vision but in resting and waiting the clarity is coming, and the lies and attacks are seen as just that, not what my mind would interpret them to be. thank you for your reflections-they shine a beautiful light on the word.
ps- even if we don't end up as 'roomates', i know we'll all be at everyones houses all the time anyways.
pps-i think lafonda's winks are the best winks i've ever seen-one of the few n.d. impressions you have yet to show us!!! :)

Aw... I know. You truly are my sister too, anonymous. Love you tons. And I'm glad you "stopped by;" it's all encouraging and stuff. Remember that time (like, on Saturday) when we all had a huge raging party/bonfire at Island View Beach and we phoned the bunch of other people who were at Esq. Lagoon?....That was awesome. We need to hang out more/ maybe live together (ha ha ha).
The clarity is coming-- like it always does, and you will see how all along He was leading you. It's exciting- like a birthday present! Wait'll you see what He's got up His sleeve....
Ok. Thank you; come again. Tell a friend!
ps N.D. still sort of rocks my world.
